1.Knowledge of Low bed Semi Trailer

Low bed semi-trailer, also known as lowbed trailer, lowboy trailer, Low Bed Truck Trailer . They are widely used, generally for medium—and long-distance freight, and are suitable for the transportation of various mechanical equipment, large objects, heavy vehicles, rail vehicles, mining machinery, forestry machinery, agricultural machinery, etc. 

2. What are the different types of low-bed semi-trailers

1) Ordinary low-bed trailer

This common type of ordinary low-bed trailer is the most popular type of low bed trailer, with a load capacity of 20 - 80 tons, low bed trailers are equipped with 2-4 axles, models are 13-20 tons axles.  Usually equipped with a spring ladder for wheel loaders, excavators or some different types of wheeled machines. The height of the working platform varies from 1000 mm to 1200 mm.

2) Heavy duty low bed truck trailer

Heavy duty low bed truck trailers are comparable to regular low bed trailers, but with a higher loading capacity, typically 80 to 140 tonnes. This type of low bed trailer is an economical low loader suitable for countries that do not have special requirements for axle loads and off-road working environments.

3) Dual lane axles lowbed trailers (also called Drop deck low bed trailers)

The main specification of a Dual lane low bed trailer is its axle. Dual lane low bed trailers are equipped with short axles, two short axles per row, and common ones are 3 line 6 axle low bed semi-trailers and 4 line 8 axle drop deck low bed trailers. This type of low-bed trailer is usually used for ultra-heavy equipment transportation. The working platform length will be designed according to the machine to be transported, and the tires are covered or exposed.

The entire cargo platform is straight and located above the wheels. The upper space of the overlapping part of the tractor and excavator trailer is fully utilized to give it a large cargo platform area. This type of frame structure is relatively simple and easy to manufacture and is mostly used for ultra-heavy trailers.

4) Detachable gooseneck trailer

RGN trailer (detachable gooseneck trailer) is also called gooseneck lowboy trailer. The container low-bed frame is stepped, and the cargo platform plane is behind the gooseneck, which lowers the main plane of the cargo platform and facilitates loading and unloading and transportation of goods. The front of the low-bed trailer we sell adopts a detachable gooseneck design to avoid the body overturning when transporting heavy equipment, ensuring the safety of the container low-bed and the driver.

Concave beam type, the cargo platform plane is concave, with the lowest load-bearing plane. Generally suitable for transporting large or super-high equipment.

5) Other customized low bed trailers
